Open Meeting – Vernon Mosque

Date: Saturday evenings (ongoing)
Time: 7 PM 

This coming Saturday we will be delving into the biography of The Prophet Muhammad followed by a Q&A after.
This will be taking place every Saturday evening at 7pm.

Sacred Spaces Tour

Date: Saturday, March 11 2017
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Location: meet at the Vernon Mosque which is located at 3414 – 17th Avenue, before 9:00 a.m.

Vernon Interfaith Bridging will be holding a Sacred Spaces Tour which will include a visit to the Vernon Mosque and Islamic Centre, a First Nations Ceremony at Polson Park, and presentations on the Baha’i and Buddhist Faiths at the People Place. If you are interested in attending the Sacred Spaces Tour please meet at the Vernon Mosque which is located at 3414 – 17th Avenue, before 9:00 a.m. on Saturday March 11.

Taaloo Zorouna – “Come Visit with Us”

Date: Sunday, March 12 2017
Time: 2:30 – 4:30 pm
Location: Mary Irwin Theatre, Rotary Centre for the Arts (421 Cawston Ave, Kelowna, BC)

 

Learn about Syrian cultures and traditions and hear from some of the families making the Thompson Okanagan their new home.

Come visit, meet and connect.
Light refreshments will be served.
